Concert Photo Gallery

 by: Tiffany Martinez

Left: Richard Patrick, of the band Filter, strums his Custom Shop Fender Telecaster at the Summit Music Hall in Denver.
I cropped a close-up to emphasize Patrick's hands and the contrast of his guitar.

Above: Lead singer and guitarist, Richard Patrick, of Filter, screams into the microphone during his show at the Summit Music Hall, Denver.
The color effect seen in the photo was a setting I used on the Canon DSLR. I also applied a crop and a slight, higher contrast.

Right: Sean Kennedy of former band, Tickle Me Pink, sings at the Aggie, in Fort Collins. Kennedy, along with his former band, is from Fort Collins. I applied a grainy contrast to the photo for an artistic element.

Above: Mickey Dollar, of Vices I Admire, is promoting the band's EP album, after their show at Summit Music Hall. The band opened for Filter (refer to above photos).
Small edits were made in this photo, including: cropping, higher contrast, and decreased brightness.

Above-right: Sean and Nat, of 3oh!3 (left), are being interviewed by Channel 93.3's morning DJ, Goodman, prior to their performance at Warped Tour. The year this photo was taken, 3oh!3 played last (of 40+ bands), and pouring rain turned into dime-size hail during their performance. The audience ran every-which direction in Monster Energy trucks, under band tents and out of Invesco Field's parking lot.
Cropping and edits in contrast were applied to the photo.

Keggs & Eggs 2012

This St. Patty's Day, Channel 93.3 and Coors Light will hold Keggs & Eggs, an all-day concert (21+) at Lodo's Bar and Grill in Denver. The show will feature: Awolnation, Breathe Carolina (of Denver), and Baywood. I'm excited to say that this is the first year I will participate, after desiring to attend even years before I was 21.

Awolnation made its breakthrough in 2011 from their hit, "Sail." Recently, the band has released another single, "Not Your Fault," which can also be heard on 93.3 and similar alternative-rock stations.

Breathe Carolina is most known for their hit, "Blackout," which hit 93.3, 96.1 KISS FM, and several others in 2011. The band also has five music videos available for viewing on YouTube.

Baywood also had their breakthrough in 2011. Their song, "I Can Breathe Again," can be heard on 93.3 and similar alternative-rock stations.

Keggs & Eggs is a free concert. From what I hear, people line up close to midnight, the night before, but it is well-worth the wait. A blog entry following the event is soon to come. The concert is St. Patty's Day, March 16, 2012, 7 am. Must be 21 or older to get in.
