Talking in Song Lyrics
So, I do this weird thing where I talk in song lyrics at random times unexpectedly.
An example of this is when someone will be trying to make a point but dragging it on too long or something, so I'll cut them off with, "I got youuuu." Then they'll look at me weird and I'll look away and then look back to finish with, "ALL FIGURED OUT!" And they'll either still look at me awkwardly or sing along to the next part, "You need everyone's eyes just to feel seeeen."
Ha, I feel a bit hipocritical right about now and probably would have cut myself off with "I got youuuu," right about a long time ago.
If you're still confused, then check out the sweet vid on YouTube already.... and GO.

Warped Tour
Now, since I mentioned it two blogs ago in my dedication to Twitter, I can't forget to make a new one to WARPED TOUR!!!
Ok, I can't help but to get excited about Warped Tour because it's the greatest concert ever to exist! I've been the past six years in a row and have made sure to plan family vacations around it, but for a good reason.
Big-name bands like the Offspring, Dropkick Murpheys, Cobra Starship, and Blink-182...
Locals like 3OH!3, Single File, and Tickle Me Pink...
And singers like Katy Perry and Mike Posner...
- HAVE.ALL.PLAYED.THERE -
Alright, I sound like a maniac right now. Anyway, it's the best concert ever like I said. So, go check it out next summer.

Pepper!
Pepper, a band from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, said they love coming to Colorado for their shows, and play here often. On Oct. 28, the band performed a show at Aggie Theater in Old Town Fort Collins for $25. Pepper usually plays larger, more expensive venues (like Red Rocks Ampiteatre which they play often) due to their popularity band status, but this time they went all out for a smaller venue by going for a Halloween theme.
For the concert, Pepper's band members entered, and immediately excited the stage dressed in doctors' costumes, promoting their newest EP - "Stiches". They also played some some of their old songs, which fans all sang along to, like "Ashes" and "Freeze."
Band members wooed 'the aggie' crowd with their humorous jokes between each song and high intensity throughout the show. Toward the end, they also played 'doctor' to one of their band members who rolled around and played tricks in a wheelchair.
This was the fourth time that I have seen Pepper perform live. Granted that the Aggie was the smallest venue of the four, it was their best performance.
What's all the 'Tweet' About?
This blog is a dedication to Twitter. No, I didn't stutter given if I would have spoken this.
So many people disregard Twitter's importance, because obviously they don't use an account and see the other side to their typical "I'm walking to the grocery store" impression of it.
People who have Twitter accounts and use it effectively, however, LOVE IT.
Now, let me explain how I have used Twitter in a productive way with music. Warped Tour is a concert which I attend myself to every summer, and after creating a Twitter account (back in 2009), I have been met some awesome bands like: 3oh!3, Single File, The Bouncing Souls, Innerpartystem, and more. How I did this, was by receiving their 'tweets' via text message from my Twitter account, and going to the tents which they signed at throughout the day.
So.. what are people and bands on Twitter saying?
Kevin Martinez, my brother who has a bit of a Twitter obsession and will admit it, tweeted Thursday, Dec. 2, "I'm disappointed that this day is STILL not a national holiday. Maybe next year. Happy Birthday @britneyspears!"
And also,
3OH!3 bandmembers, who also use their Twitter account regularly, have recently tweeted:
"Be an extra in 3OH!3's next music video!" (Dec. 6); and "FROM THE VAULTS: 3OH!3 to release their old unreleased track 'Hit it Again' on December 21st." (Dec. 8).
So, if you haven't figured it out yet, I am a fan of Twitter. I don't tweet as much as my brother or 3OH!3, but
I do enjoy its great benefits in meeting bands and finding out what they are up to. There is much more to Twitter than music, but I will stop there. I guess the point that I am trying to make here is: "Twitter rocks my world."
Wow. I can't believe I just tweeted that...
