Pepper, a band from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, said they love coming to Colorado for their shows, and play here often. On Oct. 28, the band performed a show at Aggie Theater in Old Town Fort Collins for $25. Pepper usually plays larger, more expensive venues (like Red Rocks Ampiteatre which they play often) due to their popularity band status, but this time they went all out for a smaller venue by going for a Halloween theme.
For the concert, Pepper's band members entered, and immediately excited the stage dressed in doctors' costumes, promoting their newest EP - "Stiches". They also played some some of their old songs, which fans all sang along to, like "Ashes" and "Freeze."
Band members wooed 'the aggie' crowd with their humorous jokes between each song and high intensity throughout the show. Toward the end, they also played 'doctor' to one of their band members who rolled around and played tricks in a wheelchair.
This was the fourth time that I have seen Pepper perform live. Granted that the Aggie was the smallest venue of the four, it was their best performance.
